I am highly tempted to buy this to hang over the baby's crib. We haven't really decided on a theme for the nursery yet, but I feel as if including a little bit of marine life is only right. It's part of me and will be a part of our child, no matter how many lifetimes there are in between now and my days under the sea. |

The insemination took, our surrogate is officially pregnant. Looks as if I can start preparing the nursery! |

We haven't even gone through with the insemination yet and I'm already buying baby clothes and setting up the nursery. A little overeager of me, maybe, in case it doesn't take or our surrogate decides to back out, but I can't really help myself. Of course it's also a little overwhelming to think of myself as a mother at my age by the time she's twenty, I'll be in my seventies, but there's a hole that only a child can fill and I'd rather take the chance than live to regret it.
I apologize, that came out a bit more rambling than I intended. Must be nerves. |

The truly magical part about giving vocal instruction in various countries is getting to hear how the music sounds in different languages. Each one has its own particular accent, its own special intonations, its own unique rhythms, so no song sounds the same in any dialect. It's fascinating, really. |

If the talk I'm hearing about there being a fourth movie in the works, I may just scream. Disney, what are you thinking? For God's sake, you had a TV series to cover the years before the original movie, you really don't need to cram another one in between the original and the prequel. |

This is certainly the strangest sensation. While it's somewhat reassuring to know that it's not just me, it's extremely odd for a presence that has been there for well over half my life to suddenly disappear. It feels like half of me has vanished along with her. |

I spent the entire day at the beach on an impulse. Which isn't anything unusual in and of itself, but the impulse means I did so without bringing sunblock. So I'm likely to be as red as a lobster by morning, but I can't say it wasn't worth it. |

I'm thinking heaven has somehow been disguised as my new apartment. Grant it, the place itself is two steps away from being an efficiency, but the view of the harbor from the balcony is breathtaking. |
